Preparing for Fruit Logistica and MacFrut 2022 - ACP countries (2022)

Bureau Leeters teamed up with ProFound Advisors in Development and conducted two online training cycles 'trade fair participation' for horticultural companies in ACP (African, Caribbean, Pacific) countries. The trainings were part of COLEACP's Fit for Market program, strengthening the competitiveness of the horticulture sector in these countries. The online training and coaching sessions were scheduled in March 2022, in order to prepare the SMEs for participation in Fruit Logistica in April 2022 or MacFrut in May 2022.

COLEACP is an association of companies and experts committed to sustainable agriculture. COLEACP serves SMEs and sector organisations in ACP countries. Its Fit for Market program (2016-2022) helped exporters of fruits and vegetables to export to EU countries. This online training prepared SMEs for successful participation in trade fairs, addressing topics such as 'market access requirements', 'negotiation skills', 'online marketing presence', 'commercial follow-up' and 'contracting'. During Fruit Logistica in Berlin Jos Leeters actually met some participants from Zimbabwe and Kenya.
